MY Mission
Hi, I’m Betina—the heart and soul behind Petina Sitting Services. We’re a small, family-owned business built on love, trust, and a lifelong passion for animals. What started as a childhood dream has grown into a heartfelt mission: to care for your pets as if they were our own.
This business truly is a family affair. While I’m the face you’ll see most often, my mom is the brilliant organizer, manager, and accountant who keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes. My stepson and mom are my responsible backup team when I need a helping hand, and my husband is the talented photographer capturing the joy of our work. Together, we’re a close-knit team—and yes, we really do love taking walks together. A family that walks together, stays together!
My connection to animals runs deep. Born in Malden, MA, and raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL, I’ve been surrounded by pets my entire life. As a kid, I was that neighbor knocking on doors asking if I could walk or wash their dogs. I volunteered at local animal shelters and even helped disabled children ride horses—experiences that left a lasting impact. One of my favorite memories? Attending a zoo camp where I helped care for elephants!
While my early adult years included a detour into culinary school, my heart always belonged to the animal world. I eventually found my calling at Merryfield School of Pet Grooming in Florida—one of the best in the state—where I trained under top grooming professionals. I worked as a groomer for nearly a decade before deciding to create something of my own.
That’s how Petina Sitting Services came to be. After leaving my full-time job at Petco, I made the leap to follow my dream of being a professional pet sitter and groomer on my own terms. I’m now fully insured and bonded, proudly offering in-home pet sitting, dog walking, and grooming services.
When you support my business, you’re not just hiring a pet sitter—you’re welcoming a new friend into your pet’s life. I pour my heart into every visit, taking time to bond with each pet and make sure they feel safe, secure, and loved in their own home. I even promise to clean any little paw or shoe prints I leave behind—yes, even off your walls! 
I’m also proud to be an active volunteer in the North Andover community, currently helping care for cats at the MSPCA’s Nevins Farm on Sundays. I serve clients across surrounding towns and take great pride in offering trustworthy, loving care to all of my neighbors.

I bring the dog grooming salon to you!
My motto is I can groom anywhere and everywhere. Just as long as there's an outlet, stand up shower or bathtub, and towels. Imagine coming home from work to your dog with a cute new doo. Grooming in home is a more personal approach to provide your dog the care and attention she/he needs, it doesn't get more comfortable than being right at home for a spa day.
Pet Sitting
I provide top-notch pet sitting with passion and dedication! One of my favorite services to offer is spending quality time with your beloved pets, keeping them happy, stress-free and on their daily schedule. I ensure their daily routine is maintained, including walks, feeding, and playtime. I'll take pictures and provide personalized care, making your home my own. Your pets' happiness is my top priority! I also tend to plants and ensure your home is secure and clean.
Dog Walking

I offer safe dog walking services to all sizes, ages, and breeds. I cater to meet your dog's needs either we walk one on one or with friends. I am flexible, your dog and I will bond on a gentle stroll around the neighborhood, an adventurous hike, or a social outing to the dog park. I will ensure your pets physical activity and mental stimulation is fulfilled. End the affair with fresh water and treats if allowed. My goal is to make sure your pets are happy and content.
